Day One:
- Take the subway or bus to Battery Park and go to either the Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island
- Have lunch at a restaurant on Stone Street (near the Staten Island Ferry).
- Walk up Broadway and stop at Trinity Church, St. Paul's Chapel, Federal Hall, the World Trade Center site, the Woolworth Building, City Hall Park and City Hall and view the Brooklyn Bridge from the east side of City Hall.
- Take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry (it's free) in the later afternoon just before sunset. Catch a view of night-time Manhattan on the ferry ride back from Staten Island.
Day Two:
- Take a Gray Line Bus Tour of Manhattan.
- In the afternoon have lunch in Greenwich Village, walk around Washington Square Park.
- In the evening go to a Broadway show!
Day Three:
- Visit the American Museum of Natural History (at West 79th Street and Central Park West) in the morning.
- Take the M79 crosstown bus at West 81st Street -- just outside the museum across town to East 79th Street and Fifth Avenue and go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 82nd Street & Fifth Avenue and spend the afternoon there.
- After visiting the Metropolitan Museum, take a walk up Fifth Avenue along Museum Mile and then walk downtown through Central Park (entering the park at 105th Street and Fifth Avenue).
